Delhi Court allows service of summons through Whatsapp in Criminal Case [Read Order]

A Delhi court recently allowed the service of summons in a criminal case, through whatsapp, text message and e-mail. An order to this effect was passed last month by Justice Surabhi Sharma Vats in a domestic violence/maintenance case filed under Section 125 of the Criminal Code of Procedure.
