University of Michigan alum Garlin Gilchrist has returned to alma mater as executive director of the School of Information's Center for Social Media Responsibility. Gilchrist previously served as the leader of social media for President Barack Obama in the state of Washington in 2008.( Jeffrey M Smith ).
