Dudley highway worker fired, charged with hitting a co-worker

DUDLEY – A Dudley Highway Department employee, who is the highway superintendent's son, has been charged with assault and fired from his job for hitting a co-worker. Daniel W. Gion Jr., 28, of 4 Crosby St., Webster, was arraigned Feb. 22 in Dudley District Court on one count of assault and battery.
